Whether you are looking for a traditional religious service, a non-religious ceremony, or something that reflects a person's unique life and beliefs, taking the time to find the right person is important. Instead, we have listed recognised organisations that offer searchable directories, allowing you to find a celebrant in your local area and choose the person who feels right for you and your family.
What is a Celebrant?
A celebrant works with you to create and lead a funeral service that reflects the life, personality and wishes of the person who has died. Some celebrants specialise in non-religious ceremonies, while others offer services that can include spiritual or religious elements if requested. If you would prefer a religious funeral, you can also speak to your local church, place of worship or faith leader.
