About The Founder

Hello, I'm Tracey Finch, the founder of The Funeral Companion.

Having worked within the funeral profession, I've seen first-hand how overwhelming arranging a funeral can feel. 

Families are often expected to make important decisions while coping with grief, yet many don't know where to begin or where to find trustworthy information.

I created The Funeral Companion to bridge that gap. Rather than replacing the support offered by funeral professionals, this website aims to complement it by explaining the process clearly, answering common questions and helping people understand the choices available to them before they make any decisions.

My aim has always been simple: to make funeral information easier to understand, more accessible and available to everyone who needs it.
